Chris Addison

Star of the BAFTA winning comedy The Thick Of It, and his own BBC

TWO sitcom Lab Rats, Mr. la-di-da smartypants Addison is also

regarded as one of the most versatile stand-ups in the country. With his

pacy, energetic routines and faultless delivery, he has charmed

audiences, Perrier judges (who nominated him twice) and critics alike

as a top class purveyor of smartarse daftness, whimsy, perspiration,

lies, jokes and flapping about.

When he's not been appearing on Have I Got News For You or starring

in Armando Iannucci's forthcoming feature film In The Loop, he's spent

most of the last couple of years sitting in a shed at the bottom of his

garden writing Lab Rats, a couple of books (Cautionary Tales For

Grown-Ups and It Wasn't Me: Why Everyone Else Is To Blame And

You're Not) and two series for BBC Radio 4, one of which - (The Ape

That Got Lucky) went on to win the Sony Award in 2006. So this show is

a rare opportunity to see him live right there in front of you on a stage,

doing talking and that. You should go. You really should.

"The best stand-up I've seen."

The Observer

"He's brilliant. No question."

The Times

"Downright hilarious. His stories reduced a packed

crowd to tears of helpless laughter."

The Sunday Times

"Superlative, intelligent comedy."

The Daily Telegraph

"A fantastic show. Flawless."

The Independent
