Shappi Khorsandi

The daughter of an exiled writer and comic from Iran, Shappi's upbringing has been in no way conventional.  From mental illness to opium dens, it's all gone on in the Khorsandi household and now she recounts it all the only way she knows how, with wit, warmth and hilarity.

Feisty, flirty and effortlessly funny she handles every subject with a razor sharp wit, softened only by her deliciously dizzy delivery and endless charm.

Don't be fooled by her innocent looks, she packs a deceptively powerful punch. Evening Standard

Has a fascinating story to tell, married to one of the warmest, most engaging performance styles I have seen The Observer

Britain's best young female comic by any yardstick The Guardian

Jon Richardson

In his first ever gig, back in May 2003, Jon won his heat of the BBC New Talent Comedy Search. He also reached the semi-finals of the Laughing Horse New Act competition.
As he honed and developed his act throughout 2004, Jon made it to the final of the J20 Last Laugh Comedy Search.

Having impressed a sell-out crowd in Bristol he marked the end of his first year in comedy with a performance at the Criterion Theatre in London's West End. Judges Jasper Carrot and Dave Spikey were both "extremely impressed" with Jon's performance.

By 2006 Jon was appearing on the Comedy Zone at the Edinburgh Festival, he completed a 60-date UK and Irish tour with Alan Carr and appeared on Paramount's The Comedy Store

Jon walked away with the Best Breakthrough Act (Chortle) and was nominated for the if.comedy Best Newcomer Award at the 2007 Edinburgh Festival. He was also listed under 'Best of London Comedy' in Time Out's review of 2007.

The fresh faced 24 year old's cheerily misanthropic persona works brilliantly, coming across like a junior Victor Meldrew, only wittier. It's rare to encounter a show so effortlessly slick performed by someone so young ****The Scotsman

Flawed perfectionist ****Mail On Sunday
