'UP CLOSE…BUT THIS TIME IT'S PERSONAL' 2009 TOUR
Following their all conquering, sell out arena tour in November 2008, pop royalty McFly announce a string of intimate gigs this April and May 2009.
The 14 date tour will take the boys to theatre sized venues in all corners of the country, including stops at the Manchester Apollo, Edinburgh Corn Exchange and London's HMV Apollo in Hammersmith. American Idol runner-up David Archuleta is the Special Guest on all dates.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 9am on Saturday 28th February

2008 was another huge year for McFly. Taking full control of their creative output, the boys launched independent label Super Records and released 'Radio: ACTIVE,' their first studio album in two years. The record was given away exclusively with the Mail On Sunday, reaching over 2.4 million homes and prompting a 300,000 rise in circulation. The album spawned three smash hit singles and a nationwide arena tour.

DAVID WILL BE SUPPORTING MCFLY ON THEIR UK TOUR
'Crush' is the brilliant debut single from 17 year old David Archuleta. David is already a huge star in the US where he was placed second on Forbes list of Breakout Stars of 2008. 'Crush' debuted at No.2 in the Billboard charts and went on to sell over a million downloads.
David Archuleta was the runner-up on the 2008 season of American Idol, his debut album 'David Archuleta', entered the Billboard 200 at No.2 with first week sales of almost 200,000, making it the fastest selling debut album by an American Idol contestant. It will be released in the UK on 4th May.
David will be supporting Mcfly on their UK tour. Dates are as follows:

David Archuleta is from Murray, Utah, a town outside Salt Lake City. He came to national attention and captured the hearts and imagination of a nation with several show-stopping performances on 'American Idol.'
