It's been twenty (mental) years since Terrorvision unleashed their debut album 'Fomaldehyde' and instant classics like 'My House' and 'American TV" on an unsuspecting world back in 1992.
Amid grunge's bleak introspection and the slow demise of 1980s hair metal, Terrorvision burst onto the UK scene like a breath of the freshest, finest Yorkshire air. Cutting their teeth supporting legends like The Ramones, Motorhead and Def Leppard, Terrorvision went on to become one of the most successful UK rock bands of the 1990s.
To celebrate this anniversary, and the release of their first album in 10 years -
'Super Delux', the band will be heading out on their only UK tour of 2012 in October.
And where better to announce this than at the home of Metal - Donnington and Download, where the band will appear this weekend for the first time since 1994!
October's dates will see 20 years of chaos, 6 hit albums and countless more hit singles crammed into a veritable one-night, one-band festival of tunes that get everyone thinking...'jeez, is this one by them as well!'. Smashed up ankles and cactus juice, cross dressing and green bathrooms, doo-wops and dolphins and high jinks from New York to Old Yorkshire have provided a rich vein of inspiration for Bradfords finest. Join us in October for the highs, the lows, the middle(man), the hits and the lost classics.
