After several shows selling out the Wulfrun Hall , finally the Lines are tackling the big one. With a capacity of 3,000 and a history that has seen every band of note through the years grace its hallowed hall , the Civic Hall will be the home to the Lines enormous hometown show on Saturday December 15th.

After attracting the ears of the industry and building on the strong foundation of their ever-growing fanbase, THE LINES return with the follow up from their debut single 'Domino Effect' with this infectious-indie four-track EP. The Wolverhampton four-piece leave a mark on any listener with the soaring vocal melodies of vocalist of Alex Ohm, whose style and energy is the perfect addition to the backbone of their prominent, driving drumbeats and punch-the-air guitar riffs. Taking influences from the likes of The Verve, Ian Brown and Radiohead, the established sound THE LINES create is one ahead of their time, like a band who have been perfecting their craft for years, but with their unique stamp left over each catchy chorus. THE LINES have had support from the likes of XFM, Kerrang, Steve Lamacq, The Fly, Artrocker and more with their arrival in the scene looking like one that will last. Not only impressing through the speakers, THE LINES explosive live shows have seen them share stages with Jack Panate, The Maccabees, Babyshambles, Supergrass and others which then lead them to be invited to support fellow Midlanders The Twang. The band have also performed at some of the most respected festivals across the world including SXSW, The Canadian Music Festival, CMI New York, Frequency Festival , Live at Leeds, Camden Crawl , Liverpool Sound City and more. With such an impressive introduction into an overcrowded market, THE LINES have no intention of slowing things down, with the plan to make the coming year the one which cements their name firmly in the music scene. Steve Lamacq - Radio One Top 5
"Making big noises in more ways than one, blasting out of Wolverhampton"
    The Fly
"The fever has only just started"

    Emma Scott - Kerrang Radio
"I loved Domino Effect, but it wasn't until I saw them live that I realised just how good The Lines really are. Powerful and massive sound, this band will be big!"

Denzil Watson - BBC Raw Talent
"With the band chemistry of The Libertines and the grove of The Stone Roses, the future looks bright for this Wolverhampton four-piece"

The Rimesare a four piece group from Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The band formed in 2009 and with their crowd pleasing performances, they gained recognition in their local area very quickly. They decided at this point to start playing their music around the country to help build a fanbase. In April 2010, The Rimes increased their recognition by selling out the O2 Academy 3, Birmingham. After this achievement they were booked by promoters all across the UK and invited to a number of plays and interviews on local radio stations.
The Rimes have moved forward very quickly over the last 10 months with their style changing from modern rock to rock-indie with a 60's twist and a feel good sound that you can jump around and sing along to.

    Simon Hill- BRMB Radio:
"The Rimes are The most effortlessly, exciting band i've seen in years"

Mel Flavell - Ryan's Gig Guide:
'This is a stunning EP from a group of talented musicians. Their combined aptitude would make many of the current big names blush with inferiority. Their infectious sound and positive attitude has turned heads in the industry. The industry's reactions are all the proof you need and The Rimes masses grow bigger with each gig they play.'

    Digits -www.gotseen.com
'The mix of rock/indie guitar and subtle melodies create a great combination of sound that feels so much different to lots of the music being made at the moment. They've created a sound that cant really be compared with anything else which is always a good sign that the band are accomplished song writers in their own right. They cite the Arctic Monkeys as an influence. I'd rather listen to The Rimes.'
