The brainchild of former MonoBloggers frontman Sam Lambeth, Wolverhampton-born trio Quinn are proud to announce their first ever headline gig in their home city.

The three-piece - Lambeth (vocals / guitar), Samm Jones (drums) and Andy King (bass) - have garnered nationwide acclaim for their live shows, with the Express & Star saying "it's not often that an artist's personality can eclipse the size of the stage, but Lambeth is truly a rock star once he's in front of an audience." Now they're bringing their "self-deprecating fuzz pop classics" (Counteract) to the Slade Rooms, celebrating the release of their new one-off single 'All the Best!', recorded with local legend Ryan Pinson.

Over the course of two years, Quinn have already achieved an admirable amount - their single 'Amanda Knocks' has gained airplay on BBC Radio One, BBC 6 Music and BBC WM Introducing. Their 2017 EP, 'Crush', won universal acclaim. They have taken in support slots with leading artists We Are Scientists, Evan Dando, INHEAVEN, Bully, The Orielles and The Goon Sax. With 'All the Best!', they've triumphed again - combining their blistering power pop with shimmering synths, sun-drenched melodies and a highly infectious chorus, it looks set to further bolster Lambeth's reputation as one of the underground music scene's most bittersweet, prolific and prominent songwriters.

Support from the gig comes from riot grrrl upstarts P.E.T.

'All the Best!' will be released on Friday 1st June with an accompanying music video. Of the Slade Rooms gig, Lambeth said: "I currently hold the record for most Slade Rooms appearances - over twenty, scattered across nine years in three different bands. This is a chance to continue my empirical reign over the venue. We will return to our home city, where we will be given permission to operate on a level above the law, and slake our unholy thirst.

"Or we may just play some songs. People seem to enjoy that!"
